It's Feelin' Like Summertime

I'm a lucky guy. But first off, I wanted to say I absolutely got caught up in school last semester and forgot about this blog. I've now been married almost two months and I'm very lucky. My wife is an amazing women. She continues to surprise me everyday with her ability. As summer is rolling around one of my favorite things we've started doing is having campfires out back. We roast marshmallows, starbursts, crescents, bacon and other items. I love it because it takes me back to our first date. We roasted starbursts by a fire. Later we sat on a trampoline and talked until 2am. I remember thinking that this girl is either never going out with me again or actually had a good time to stay out with me that late. Our next date together was awkward as I was trying to put my arm around her and she was stiff as a board. I was hitting myself in the head for the next 2 weeks thinking I blew it. But, our third date was back to awesome. We went to a museum and then made our own pizza as we taught each or different types of dancing. We subsequently had an amazing summer full of adventures as I was falling deeper and deeper in love. I'm so excited to have another summer in front of us. I plan on falling in love all over again. It's going to be awesome...
